Sam Grant is a doctoral student at the California Institute of Integral Studies, completing a dissertation on bottom up integral ecology, and is the Faculty Director of the Environmental Sustainability program at the Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs. He works with various efforts to develop a local food system in North Minneapolis and is President of the Sierra Leone Foundation for New Democracy, which is doing the work described in Sierra Leone. He has been an educator in higher education since 1988 and is a ‘transformative organizer’ and facilitator working with grassroots change agents globally.

Everywhere we look, whether in the Global North or Global South, we see people reclaiming an integral relationship with nature and each other through regenerative agriculture and regenerative community building strategies. Looking forward, there are many exciting intersections of regenerative agriculture and sustainability education to amplify.
