Stephen Madigosky is a professor of Environmental Science at Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. Along with his colleague, Beatriz Urraca, he has worked extensively for more than a decade with farmers, academics, students and government officials on the environmental and cultural aspects of the coffee chain.
They have presented in a variety of conferences on this topic and teach an award-winning course that exposes students to the cultural and environmental issues associated with coffee in Latin America.
