KIRKUK, Iraq (AP) Saboteurs attacked an oil pipeline and an oil well near northern Kirkuk on Wednesday, oil officials said.
The pipeline carries oil from Bayhassan oil well, 30 miles west of Kirkuk, to Dibis some 20 miles west of Kirkuk, said an official with the state-owned Northern Oil company.
The oil well that saboteurs bombed is located in Barajwan, 20 miles northwest of Kirkuk, according to the official speaking on condition of anonymity.
The city of Kirkuk is 180 miles north of Baghdad
Assailants also blew up a domestic oil pipeline north of the capital that links the Beiji refinery to the Doura refinery in the capital, witnesses said.
